Question of the Day: Tell us what you think about parents sharing their family-related frustrations, concerns and stories with online readers. Should they obtain their spouses’ and children’s permission first? Would you approve or disapprove if your mother or father were sharing stories about you online – in, say, a blog, or on Facebook or Twitter? What ground rules would you want your parents to agree to? How protective are you of your privacy?

Daily Objectives: 

Define an information problem.

Identify information needed in order to complete the task (to solve the information problem).

Create an outline, a storyboard, a graphic organizer, and/or a concept map .

Identify and define authentic problems and significant questions for investigation.

Plan and manage activities to develop a solution or complete a project.

Word of the Day:  Focusing a research topic is narrowing (or sometimes broadening) a topic so that you can demonstrate a good understanding of it, including enough examples and important details, within the size limits of the project you are required to produce.
