Question of the Day: 
  1. Write a short summary of the "What Would You Do?" video you just watched.
  2. What would you do if you witnessed a situation similar to this? Why?
  3. How would you feel if someone did this to you?  Why?
  4. Comment on at least two other Blogs from your Reading List.
Daily Objectives: 
  • Using the World Wide Web and a blog, students will identify, respond to, and limit the negative impact of Cyberbullying, hate speech, and other forms of online cruelty or unethical behavior, with a student performance at the basic level or above and 65% on writing rubric.
  • Students will read, discuss and analyze information from articles on cyberbulling and hate speech, then develop a set of guidelines that promote positive online behavior, using written (Blog post), graphic, pictorial, or multi-media methods, with a student performance at the basic level or above and 6 out of 12 on the project rubric.
  • Given a variety of multimedia texts and videos, students will analyze online issues and tecnological effects, with a student performance at the basic level or above and 65% on writing rubric.
  • Students will watch videos and complete an assessment with 65% or better.

  • After reading the text, students will complete the HTML Lists assessment, with a score of 9 out of 10 or better. 
  • Using a simple text editor (Sublime Text), students will create an HTML Web Page that includes HTML List tags, with a student performance at the basic level.
