Recyclables Project

In this assessment, you will create a web page to demonstrate the use of table tags. Once you have completed your webpage, the class will view it to offer feedback.

  1. Create a folder on your DESKTOP entitled Table.

You should start with the basic code for our html web pages. Be sure to change the title to read:

Schools Recyclables Checklist

Your table should look like this:  3 Columns and 36 Rows

School Recyclables Checklist

2. Change the background color of your page.

3. At the top of the page put a Heading in the largest style that reads:
Schools Recyclables Checklist

4. Below that put a horizontal rule that has size =5. The header and horizontal should match and change the color from the default color.

5. The table should consist of 3 columns and 36 rows. Create a legend for the checklist with the appropriate colors for the items. The border should be set to 1 so we see the border.

6. Provide a summary of the checklist and how your school is measuring up to recycle initiatives.
Analyze your schools current involvement and produce a possible solution to working harder on a recycling program. Sustainability is the ability of this generation to meet its needs without undermining the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Include how to sustain school products through recycling.

7. Read the Recycling Guide.  Watch the Recycling Video.
Write a proposal for a recycling program at your school.  Include your Resources.
8. At the bottom of the page include your name and date below it. You should use a line break to keep these lines close together.
