In this assessment, you will create a web page to demonstrate the use of table tags. Once you
have completed your webpage, the class will view it to offer feedback.
 

Directions:
1. Create a folder entitled "Your Name Table".
It has come to your school's attention that Staples is offering a free recycling program.

  • Create a table that consist of 1 column and 20 rows. 
  • The whole table should be a different color. 
  • The border should be set to "1" so we see the border.

Desktop printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, all-in-ones
Shredders
UPS/battery backup devices
Peripherals including mice, keyboards, modems, routers and PC speakers
Small electronics including GPS devices, digital cameras, MP3 players, mobile phones
and cordless phones
External hard drives and small servers
Prohibited items not accepted for recycling:
Televisions
Floor model copiers and printers
Appliances
Large servers
Stereo/home A V equipment
Alkaline batteries
Rechargeable batteries larger than 12 pounds
Lamps/bulbs
*Limit 6 items per customer per day. All brands of items are accepted regardless of where purchased. Staples® Copy & Print Shops do not accept electronics for recycling, but all other U.S. Staples locations accept electronics for free recycling.
  • Provide a summary of the data represented in the table. Analyze findings and identify a possible solution or way for your school to participate in this program. 
  • Identify the benefits to the environment by participating in the Staples program. 
  • Sustainability is the ability of this generation to meet its needs without undermining the ability of future generations to meet their needs. 
  • Include how to sustain technology products through recycling.
  • At the bottom of the page, include your name and place today's date below it.
  • You should use a line break to keep these lines close together.
