Listen: What New Tech Ideas Does the World Need?” Audio
Question of the Day: After reading “What New Tech Ideas Does the World Need?” and “On Display at CES, Tech Ideas in Their Awkward Adolescence,” write a 3 paragraph blog post, of at least 300 words, in which you argue (1)new tech ideas that the world needs, (2)the problems technology could solve and (3)how could it make our lives better? Support your position with evidence from the text and video. Include at least 2 sources using citelighter and the MLA format.

Research one of the topics below and write a blog post describing each technology.
Write in your own words. Do not copy and paste.
Artificial intelligence, Virtual reality, Wearables, the “Internet of things,” Autonomous cars, and Drones, Augmented reality
Daily Objectives:  Students will read, discuss and analyze information from articles, analyze, and think critically about online context, using written (Blog post), graphic, pictorial, or multi-media methods, with a student performance at the basic level or above and 6 out of 12 on the project rubric.

  • Use images, graphics, photos and color.
TITLE (5 Points)
  • Use a unique title to entice interest.
